Sarah is the Pastor of Formation at Hope Midtown (part of the HopeNYC family of churches) where she teaches, preaches, coaches, and offers spiritual direction. Her previous ministry roles took her to more than 30 countries, providing missionary care, leadership development, and cross-cultural training. Sarah has also led in areas of urban youth work, social services, and college outreach. She received a Master of Divinity degree from Alliance Theological Seminary and has been an adjunct professor at Nyack College. Sarah writes both poetry and prose around themes of waiting, hope, mission, justice, lament, and love. She recently published her first collection entitled Pandemic Prayers and Poetry.
