Brian Phipps

Brian Phipps is the founder and President of Disciples Made. Brian was the Next Steps (Disciple-Making) pastor at Westside Family Church for nine years where he developed Westside’s discipleship and leadership development pathway in which the Disciples Made experiences were created. The Disciples Made experiences incorporate a disciple-making “operating system” Brian designed called the Intentional Disciple-Making Environment. Brian has consulted with many churches in developing their disciple-making process and currently leads multiple cohorts of church leaders in Kansas City.

He’s currently working on a book, Find Your Place: Locating Your Calling Through Your Gifts, Passions, and Story, co-written with Rob Wegner.

In addition to being a Next Steps pastor, Brian is also experienced as a church planter and senior pastor. Brian received his BA in Religious Studies from the University of South Carolina, and a Masters of Divinity and M.A. in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Florida. Brian and Carol were married in 1994 and have three children, Hannah, Sam, and Caleb. Brian’s passion is to empower every Christ follower to discover, develop, and optimize their character and calling so that they make the biggest IMPACT on the world for Jesus.

Rob Wegner

Rob Wegner serves as the NewThing Global Reproducing and Relationship Champion for the North American Region.

He has served as a teaching pastor at Granger Community Church for 21 years, calling the people of God to get out of their seat and into the Story. Under his leadership, ventures include local expressions like Monroe Circle Community Center, a hub for neighborhood renewal in the inner city of South Bend, IN. and a movement of over 1000 reproducing churches in India with over 140,000 reached people.

Rob has worked alongside Alan Hirsch in an innovative coaching program called Future Travelers, which has served more than 250, some of which are among the most influential churches in America. His first book, Share the Well, which he co-wrote with his wife, Michelle, is an eyes wide open experience through visually stunning photos and captivating stories of the holistic church planting movement they served in India. His second book, Missional Moves, which he co-wrote with Jack Magruder, is a part of Zondervan’s Exponential Series.

Currently, Rob lives in Kansas City and is on the elder team of Westside Family Church, where he get’s the privilege of teaching on the weekends and advancing the Jesus movement both locally and internationally through the development of training pathways to equip people to live as missionaries where they live, work, study and play, along with the development of simple churches in those settings. Rob and Michelle have three amazing young ladies – Madeline, Whitney and Belle.

Larry Walkemeyer

Larry Walkemeyer grew up as a Kansas farm boy but responded to God's call to urban Long Beach, Ca. Since taking the leadership of a dying "anglo" church in 1991, Larry has led "Light & Life" to be a multi-ethnic and missional church that serves as a model for churches across America. The church has started dozens of churches in the US and internationally.

Larry also serves as the Director of Equipping and Spiritual Engagement for the largest church planting resourcing ministry in the world - Exponential (exponential.org).

Larry has authored or co-authored 10 books and is a frequent conference speaker in church and business settings.

Larry holds a Doctorate from Azusa Pacific University and is the recipient of the Centennial Award recognizing him as one of the most influential students in 100 years of Azusa's history. Currently he serves on the Board of Trustees for APU.

Married in 1978, Larry's wife, Deb holds a doctorate in church leadership from Fuller Seminary and is an expert in Missional Leadership. Together they enjoy snow and water skiing, biking, long beach walks, traveling, and hanging out with their family.

Bill Couchenour

Bill serves as Director of Learning Communities at Exponential. He primarily serves network and denominational leaders. He also provides strategic and operational oversight of Exponential’s R&D and expanding educational opportunities.

Keri Ladouceur

Keri Ladouceur has built several ministries over the last 14 years including two of Outreach Magazine's fastest growing churches in America.

She also invested a decade in senior leadership at Willow Creek Community Church, most recently building their leadership pipeline after launching over ninety missional communities. She is currently serving as a pastor at Vineyard Christian Church and the founder of New Ground Network. She and her team co-conspire with pastors and ministry teams across the country in Vision Conviction, Strategic Planning, Alignment, Team Health, Leadership Residency and Equipping so that they can pursue new opportunities for Kingdom Impact. Her passion is to see the local church thrive in each unique context and expression, to partner with God in the redemption and restoration of the world.

Keri is married to Marc and they have two incredible kiddos, Leah and Liam.
