Empowered: Moving With The Spirit

The single command that Jesus gave his followers before igniting a movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised…” He was telling them to wait for and then move with the Spirit. In 2022, we’ll discover a growing awareness of the Spirit’s work and leadership while also realizing that we will always be more effective if we move with the Holy Spirit.

She is committed to raising leaders and bridging generations to serve the future of the Church and their communities.
Jarrett Stephens
Jarrett Stephens
Dr. Jarrett Stephens serves as Senior Pastor of Champion Forest Baptist Church in Northwest Houston, one of the largest and most diverse churches in America. Pastor Jarrett was previously the teaching pastor at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, where he began his ministry as an intern and eventually served single and married adults, oversaw the residency program, led mission trips, and launched the Prestonwood Network which plants churches around the country. Jarrett serves on the boards of BridgeBuilders, Dallas Baptist University, and the North American Mission Board—reflecting his passions of spreading the life-transforming message of the gospel to the ends of the earth, serving the least of these in the inner cities, raising up the next generation of Christian leaders, and equipping churches to be on mission. A native of Louisiana, Jarrett graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, with a bachelor of arts in biblical studies and psychology. He holds a master of divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2006 and a doctorate of ministry from Liberty Theological Seminary in January 2012. Jarrett is the author of The Mountains Are Calling: Making the Climb for a Clearer View of God and Ourselves and The Always God: He Hasn’t Changed and You Are Not Forgotten, bringing a message of hope for chaotic seasons and difficult days. Jarrett and his wife, Debbie, have four daughters: Riley, Kelsey, Cameron, and Landry.
Faith Eury Cho
Faith is the founder of The Honor Summit, a nonprofit organization that centers Asian American women in the mission of God. She co-pastors Mosaic Covenant Church in New Jersey alongside her husband, Pastor David Cho. Having served in ministry since she was 19 years old, Faith continues to have a burning passion to serve as a voice to the voiceless. Besides the above roles, she is also a church planter, writer, missionary, and itinerant speaker.
Jason Shepperd
Jason is the lead pastor of Church Project in The Woodlands, Texas, a “church of house churches” that he formed in 2009 and started on January 10, 2010. He is also the founder of Church Project Network, a coalition of churches working to change the way people see Christ, Christians, and the Church. Church Project is beginning a movement of planting and replanting churches to become decentralized in community, distributed in leadership, functionally simplified for the sake of generosity, and formed in a collective of house churches, under one common structure, oversight, and support. Today, Church Project has grown into 50 house churches locally with over 3,000 people plus several church plants.
Jaron Jones
Pastor Jaron is the Lead Pastor at Shine Bible Fellowship Church. He is a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary-Houston (ThM 2016) and completed a church-planting residency at Crossover Bible Fellowship Church prior to launching Shine. Shine's mission is to daily pursue Christ, to daily transform our World.  Pastor Jaron had been married to his lovely wife Eboni for 15 years and they have 3 wonderful children, Chloe, Kendal and Kyler.  He is a diehard St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and a smoked brisket lover.
Bruce Wesley
Bruce is the founding and senior pastor of Clear Creek Community Church and founder and president of the Houston Church Planting Network. The Houston Church Planting Network is a network of networks, made up of church planters, future church planters, network and denominational leaders, business leaders, and leaders from existing churches committed to church planting—all who love the city of Houston and want to see new churches planted that proclaim and demonstrate the gospel to every Houstonian.
Jeremiah Morris
Jeremiah Morris is the founding and Lead Pastor at Seven Mile Road Houston. He is a husband, dad, disciple-maker and church planter. He loves preaching the gospel, the city of Houston, and anything wrapped in a tortilla. He is passionate about his wife, Ashley, and his 3 boys, Finn, Caleb and Judah (and the 4th on the way!). He sits on the board of HCPN, works extensively with City to City, and is helping provide leadership to the Together for the City collaboration initiative in the heart of Houston.  Jeremiah graduated from Texas Christian University (B.A. Philosophy) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MDiv).
Todd Proctor
Todd Proctor serves on the Executive Leadership Team of Alpha USA, helping pastors of key churches across the nation explore the Alpha course within their own context. He was a founder and long-time Lead Pastor of Rock Harbor in Costa Mesa, leading through a season of multiplication that birthed many new campuses and church plants across Orange County. Todd is passionate about investing in young leaders, and curating experiences and conversations for pastors that foster greater church unity. In recent years he has led in pioneering The Way, a multi-church gathering focused apprenticeship to Jesus, and One Table, creating space for senior leaders to break bread and grow together in Kingdom friendship. Todd and his wife Lisa also serve on the pioneering team of Canopy, a house-church based community in his home turf of Newport Mesa in Orange County.
Myron Pierce
Myron is the founder and lead pastor of Mission Church in Omaha. At the age 18, he faced a life sentence in prison for his life of gang banging, drugs, and crime. Myron surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus and while leaving the courtroom he heard God whisper, 'I'm going to get you out of prison to plant churches.'" Through a series of miracles, the prison doors opened for him after 8 years. His call is to saturate every U.S. inner city with new churches. Myron received his B.A. in Biblical Studies and Business Leadership at Grace University. Alongside leading the churches, Myron operates three small businesses. He trains leaders to plant businesses while planting a church.
