Episode 2: Missional Families are Incarnational

Join us each week for a new episode of this five-part series with Dr. P.C. Mathew as he discusses how being missional starts right in our homes.

A family is a single unit, but it’s often comprised of very different personalities.

Despite our differences, however, God intends for the family to function as a collective unit, with mutual respect and affection, in fulfilling His mission.

We all have our comfort zones—areas of interest, places we’re familiar with, things we can control, people who are just like us. Comfort zones are good in many ways; however, comfort zones also make us complacent and lower our guards.

In this session, Dr. P.C. Mathew talks about how missional families are willing to stretch themselves—going beyond what makes them comfortable so that they can accommodate others into God’s kingdom.

We are better together!

“I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
John 17:22-23
